The Ponta da Ferraria is a lava delta on São Miguel Island, Azores. 

It is a geological formation created from primordial volcanic eruptions, in the Island geological formation, but also by recent volcanic manifestations that have given rise to new phenomena.

Among these phenomena is a volcanic pseudocratera that originated as a result of small explosions of vapor, resulting from the contact of the hot lava with the seawater, and the existence of a thermal complex and natural pools where it is possible to swim in the sea in water hot volcanic origin.
