The Miradouro da Ponta do Sossego, located in Lomba da Pedreira, a little further ahead of Ponta da Madrugada, if you come from the south, offers a superb view over the coast. Here the paradise is even the gardens. diversity of flowers and flower beds, always very careful throughout the year, make this place the largest garden in the county of the Nordeste.

The view over the sea is equally superb, and you can see Fajã do Araújo and Lombo Gordo Beach. In the Ponta do Sossego viewpoint it is tradition for families to gather for a weekend picnic in the open air. The influx of visitors to the Ponta do Sossego viewpoint is such that in summer it is sometimes difficult to find a barbecue available.
